Today I got another check from the government, see attached. $7,500 from MA for buying an EV (my Ford F150 Lightning truck). I get another $7,500 from the Federal Government on April 15th. The Pro version of the F150 Lightning (I have the Lariat version which is longer range) lists for $49k. It gets the same $15k off. That’s $34k net. You can’t get a better car for such little money. I ran my house from the Ford during the recent grid outage, see pic. I no longer need an unreliable, expensive and polluting back-up generator.
